Ethan Campisi Wins the Craddock Scholarship

Congratulations to Ethan Campisi, winner of the 2025-2026 Walter R. Craddock Endowed Scholarship! The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic merit and professional promise to students with either junior or senior standing majoring in History or Political Science. Campisi is a rising senior majoring in history.

The scholarship honors Dr. Walter R. Craddock, who taught political and diplomatic history at USL (UL Lafayette) in the 1960s and 1970s. Craddock earned an undergraduate degree from the College of William & Mary and a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina. He died in 1978 at the early age of 48.
