Requirements

You must meet the following requirements in order to earn a minor in geography:

1) Complete 18 credit hours of GEOG courses.

2) At least six credit hours must be at the 300 level or above.

3) You must meet all requirements and prerequisites as listed in the catalog for all courses in the minor.

4) At least six credit hours towards the minor must be taken at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

5) At minimum, you must have a 2.0 cumulative grade point average.

6) You cannot have more than one “D” in the GEOG courses applied towards the minor.

7) You must inform your advisor of the intent to complete requirements for a minor no later than at completion of the degree plan. The minor will not be awarded retroactively after graduation.
