Study Abroad
Students from the Department of History, Geography and Philosophy have participated in our comprehensive Study Abroad program.
Ranging from late May through the middle of July, these programs are taught by UL faculty from a wide range of departments and are centered in France and Italy for six weeks, England for two weeks, and Costa Rica for ten days.
Students have the opportunity to learn about different cultures through visits, activities while immersing in the culture, cuisine, cities, and countryside. Students from all majors are encouraged to participate in these programs where interdisciplinary interests and exchange is encouraged.
A variety of academic scholarships and financial aid options are available for these programs which are advertised beginning in September and for which the registration process continues throughout March in the year of travel.
Dr. Carriker and Dr. Cauvin have offered courses in Italy and Costa Rica.
