History in the News: Memories of the Grand 16 Shootings

The Department of History was recently in the news as Dr. Skilton lead a team of students in conducting oral history interviews with members of the Lafayette community on the second anniversary of the Grand 16 shootings. The research is part of a larger National Science Foundation grant on disaster response.
